Privacy

Huddersfield Colonics uses your name, email address, phone number and appointment details to arrange appointments, respond to enquiries and send booking messages. Booking and enquiry services

The website and booking records are hosted on Cloudflare. Booking and enquiry emails are sent using Resend. Portal Digital provides technical support for the website. Information is used to operate the clinic’s appointment and enquiry service, rather than for advertising.

Google Calendar connection

The password-protected clinic diary offers an optional Google Calendar connection for the clinic administrator. Google sign-in provides the account’s verified email address and permission to create, update and delete events on calendars owned by that account. The application mirrors confirmed appointments into the connected primary calendar, including the client’s name, phone number, email address, appointment time and clinic location. Private appointment notes are not included. Events added directly in Google Calendar are not imported into the booking diary.

The application stores the connected account’s email address and an encrypted authorisation token so calendar updates can continue without repeated sign-in. Google account and calendar data are used only to provide this connection, are not sold, and are not used for advertising or to train general-purpose AI models. The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

The administrator can disconnect Google Calendar in the diary. This removes the saved connection credentials and stops future synchronisation. Existing events remain in the Google calendar and can be deleted there. Access can also be revoked through Google Account permissions.

Storage and security

Administrator access uses a session cookie. Email confirmation links and appointment holds help protect bookings. Unconfirmed expired booking records are removed after 30 days; confirmed and cancelled records remain in the clinic diary. Contact the clinic to discuss deletion of your information and any records it needs to retain.

External services

The site includes a Google Map and links to Google reviews and Facebook. Those services process information under their own privacy policies when you use them.
